Born and raised in West Texas, J.J. worked hard to put himself through college, earning a public relations degree from Texas Tech that led him to accept a position as director of public relations for one of the largest non-profit agencies in the country. He successfully elevated community awareness of this nonprofit organization and its many beneficial social service programs. In 1999, however, this savvy businessman decided to join forces with his father to build up the family’s land surveying company. The experience created a solid foundation that J.J. still draws from today in his remarkable career as a real estate professional.
When he’s not helping his clients make the most of their investment decisions, J.J. enjoys watching his kids participate in their favorite activities, be it soccer, softball, violin or clarinet. His other hobbies include playing the piano, playing tennis and watching Texas Tech football games.
