was founded in 2015 by Barrett Owens and Britt Morris to provided mortgage financing to customers of

the DFW Metro area and Texas. Capacity is run by Derek Goss who has more than 10 years origination

and management experience and more than 15 years in the business. Derek is Vice President of

Capacity and works directly with our clients to find the right solutions to meet their needs and goals.

The sun is shining brilliantly above the grassy field where J.J. Chapa and his daughter, Bailey, are working on her softball swing. In 1999, however, this savvy businessman decided to join forces with his father to build up the family’s land surveying company. The experience created a solid foundation that J.J. still draws from today in his remarkable career as a real estate professional. When he’s not helping his clients make the most of their investment decisions, J.J. enjoys watching his kids participate in their favorite activities, be it soccer, softball, violin or clarinet. His other hobbies include playing the piano, playing tennis and watching Texas Tech football games.
